Approximately 38.4% of men and women will be diagnosed with cancer at some point during their lifetimes. The intended audience for this journal, Cancer Diagnosis, are my family, friends, colleagues and those of their connections who are being or have been impacted by cancer. All those statistics indicate the breadth and depth of the problem. They don’t relate to the more personal aspects of the impact and the countless opportunities from medical science to hands on caretakers.
The journal will evolve from today forward driven by my daily experiences, your particular engagement, and ongoing developments in well-being and cancer treatments. The developments and costs of healthcare in the U.S. and Mexico have been the focus of much observation and comparison.
Thank you for your participation!
